Contact Us: Mighty Richland Players |
For our tenth season in 2011, the Mighty Richland Players proudly present the following shows: "TBA" (Spring 2011) -- The last in a trilogy of musical comedies showcasing that cast of misfits: Fannie Mae Garrettson, Ollie O. Shaunessey, Dora Hand, Deadwood Dan, Frederick Forsythe Fosdick III, and Reverend Mould. Murdered by Fatal Death (Fall 2011) -- The third of the Inspector Pratt trilogy. Inspector Pratt's record of crime detection at Bagshot House is rather dismal; in his previous two visits, he looked on (helplessly and hopelessly) as the body count mounted. This time, he meets Nancy Allwright, the new owner of the house, and is embroiled in more mystery. Lending a hand are Miss Maple, Constable Thomkins, upper-crust Ginny, and Italian gigolo Enzo. Danger looms with an unexpected arrival and a frightening suggestion by Welsh busybody and clairvoyant Blodwyn Morgan. The Sorry Tellers, or Once Upon a Whine (Winter 2011) -- In the year 1501 the King decreed a Story-Telling Contest would be held to determine the best story teller in the Kingdom. Included in the contestants are four from the Shire of Sorry, an insignificant speck in a far corner of the Kingdom. The Jester, upset he's not already considered the best storyteller in the Kingdom, decides to enter the contest incognito. Also entering is Mertonsire, a pompous, bombastic fop focused on the prize. Dates and detailed information on these shows will be announced in October. Special Shows: The Cheddar Curtain (March 2011) -- A collaborative theater production comprised of yet-to-be-written skits from various local and regional theaters based on the theme, Stories of our area. This will be an all-new show, and we're looking for writers, directors, or stars! Tickets will be offered separately at a later date.
