Secondary Cause of Death

(Oct. 1-3 and Oct. 8-10, 2010)

Synopsis: Part two of a trilogy, Secondary Cause of Death is a Dessert Theater offering that follows Peter Gordon's hit comedy thriller Murdered to Death, performed to sold-out crowds by the MRPDT in Sept., 2009.

Set in 1939, this hilarious comedy involves exploding teapots and cigars, poisoned drinks, German spies, secret agents, and a multitude of murder weapons. The storyline sees Colonel Charles Craddock inherit Bagshot House and convert the property into a hotel for the discerning visitor. Inspector Pratt arrives with grim news, a staged murder mystery evening turns into a chaotic nightmare, and bodies pile up as the tale winds to a surprise ending. If you didn't catch Murdered to Death, don't worry -- you'll still be able to enjoy and appreciate this wonderful, quirky British humor!
