Jester, the Body, Ventures Forth

(Nov. 26-28, 2010)

Synopsis: Another warped Madrigal by Paul Brandvik in a dinner theater setting. This tale begins with a Jester announcing the upcoming visit of Good King Wence from the Kingdom of Jibber and his two daughters (Good King Wence's lasses). The king aims to arrange marriages for the girls, thereby uniting two kingdoms.

The Jester and Sir Merton, the only eligible bachelors in the kingdom, both fancy Olivia the fair, but Gorgonzola.org must marry first. Consequently, the hapless bachelors must duel for the hand of Gorgonzola.org while hoping to lose so they can win Olivia instead.

The fare will be the English groaning board (roast beef dinner with appetizer, green beans almondine, garlic mashed potatoes, and a dessert). Upon request, an alternative meal will be available.
